During the last 12 years in the tourism industry, Gerald first guided private camping safaris in Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe. This gave him the background knowledge of the tourism industry, and the experience in working working with guests from many different cultures.

 Eventually working for one of Namibia’s leading DMC’s, Gerald got involved with planning and coordinating inbound Incentive travel, and has been working in this field for many years.

 But with changing circumstances, an old passion led to starting a small company, offering an interesting and informative half day tour in the Swakopmund area, where guests learn about the plant life in the desert and how the ancient cultures untilized many of the plants in their everyday life.

 Founded early in 2007 by the owner Gerald Kolb, Travel Time is registered with the Namibian Tourism Board as a tour operator (Reg. no. TSO 00337).
